“Asia Pacific & Canada” Plan for iBookstore

Apple always negotiates with people about the question of sharing their books to iBookstore for iPad. When iBookstore was launched, Apple claimed that it would be available only in U.S, although it has planned to extend iBookstore to other countries around the world.

Apple Company recently released a new post called the manager for its “Asia Pacific & Canada”, and it seems that it will focus on Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other countries though the geographic coverage has not been exactly noted. The manager will deal with the issues in Asia Pacific & Canada, work with legal and production teams to finalize relationships and secure content, and is also responsible for marketing the books to iBookstore by coordinating with Apple Team and partner teams.

Besides, Apple also posted some other positions for this new Asia Pacific & Canada plan, like publisher account managers, marketing employees, etc. Apple is also presumably planning to extend their deals with other countries not covered in this new extension plan, though their new job positions have not been published yet.
